Welcome Heidi Rich, our new Executive Director!

This is a pivotal year for Art Buddies as we prepare to say goodbye to Executive Director Scott Mikesh—who succeeded our founder Sue Crolick five years ago—and welcome our newly elected Executive Director Heidi Rich, who will take the reins next school year!

As a longtime community organizer, arts educator, and an innovative non-profit fund raiser, Heidi believes in bringing together business, neighborhood, and school communities to empower kids through mentoring and arts programming.

We are so fortunate to have such a strong team of dedicated staff, board members and sponsors who have helped Art Buddies grow, and will continue to help Heidi succeed as the new Art Buddies leader.

We are also grateful for the dozens of highly skilled individuals who applied for this unique leadership position, and the level of passion and commitment they displayed for serving kids in our community.

We’re excited for this opportunity to further develop our organization to empower many more kids for years to come!
